Potato Pull-Apart Bread

This new take on our classic potato bread takes the original, delicious French dough filled with fingerling potatoes and adds just a hint of sumac, garlic, and rosemary.  This bread comes out early in the morning, typically after we open at 8am, so if you time your visit right you can get your hands on a steaming hot bit of bread.  While warm the flavors are more pronounced (though still a subtle note that dances on the palate), and they mellow and develop as the bread cools.  Each loaf is formed from 6 rolls, and the bread can be easily pulled apart for eating as such.  The size is perfect for a large dinner roll, or even buns for a fancy burger or sandwich.  

 

Ingredients: Unbleached white flour, water, fingerling potatoes, rye flakes, fresh garlic, rosemary, sumac, yeast, salt.
